This included an additional 1.2 km of priority bus lanes along Shepperton Road. The project also delivered a new signalised pedestrian crossing and introduced right-turn restrictions to enhance traffic flow and improve safety for all road users.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vcex_heading text=”Project Design Brief” tag=”h2″ font_weight=”semibold” font_size=”1.154em” css=”.vc_custom_1534997838718{margin-bottom: 15px !important;}”][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1756280822010{padding-bottom: 15px !important;}”]With road levels already established along Shepperton Road, designers needed to implement an effective drainage solution to ensure stormwater runoff was promptly captured from the carriageway. This was essential not only to maintain road safety but also to protect pedestrians from bus splash during heavy rainfall. The presence of existing underground services further constrained design options, necessitating a compact and efficient drainage system.[/vc_column_text][vcex_heading text=”ACO’s Solution” tag=”h2″ font_weight=”semibold” font_size=”1.154em” css=”.vc_custom_1534997885619{margin-bottom: 15px !important;}”][vc_column_text]
