Sydney Airport Corporation gave a directive to designers to eliminate the possibility of loose grates. This is a direct result of ongoing rectification works from the existing trench grate and frame systems that have failed.[/vc_column_text][vcex_heading text=”ACO’s Solution” tag=”h2″ font_weight=”semibold” font_size=”1.154em” css=”.vc_custom_1534997885619{margin-bottom: 15px !important;}”][vc_column_text]Engineers therefore opted for ACO’s Qmax. This system, with its heavy duty galvanised frame, does not comprise removeable grates, is rated to 900kN (EN1433) and therefore suitable for aircraft wheel loads. In addition to this, its HDPE body was sized adequately to meet the hydraulic requirements of the project.[/vc_column_text][vcex_button url=”/infrastructure/case-studies/qantas-maintenance-facility.pdf” target=”blank” font_weight=”bold” custom_background=”#cc0000″ custom_hover_background=”#b70000″ custom_color=”#ffffff” custom_hover_color=”#ffffff” font_padding=”top:12|right:12|bottom:12|left:12″]Download this case study[/vcex_button][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vcex_image overlay_style=”” image_id=”28000″ main_notice=””][/vc_column][/vc_row]
