To facilitate safe and efficient passenger movement, the brief required all pavements to be flat, have adequate drainage and for grates to be slip resistant.

Designers subsequently specified ACO’s sloped KlassikDrain. The slope in the channel system provides the necessary fall to efficiently drain the rainwater thereby keeping the flat walking surfaces free from flooding.
